I personally do not put a big emphasis on homework. I have found that parents do homework for their children at times. Also, kids today have so many activities after school that they dont do their homework. I do require my students to complete their homework and if they dont they are required to complete it during recess. We review homework each day and I always ask if someone has a question about homework.
